WEDNESDAY
* Ocean Way: Police arrested a man who reported that someone was
trying to break into his home on suspicion of being drunk in public
in the 1700 block at 12:27 a.m.
TUESDAY
* Park Avenue: Police arrested a 20-year-old Long Beach resident
on suspicion of trespassing after he was found sleeping at Laguna
Beach High School at 11:24 p.m.
* Forest Avenue: Police weren’t able to locate a transient someone
said was singing songs about bombs while sitting on a bench in the
200 block at 3:55 p.m.
* Summit Way: A man called police saying he’d lent his truck to
his brother and that he refused to give it back in the 1000 block at
7:39 a.m.
* Frontage and Laguna Canyon roads: Police summoned an Irvine dope
dog to search a 33-year-old’s car. They arrested him only on
suspicion of driving with a suspended license and had his 1996 Ford
Mustang towed at 12:39 a.m.
MONDAY
* Chiquita Street: A resident reported that a goat was in his
backyard making too much noise in the 100 block at 3:07 p.m.
* Nyes Place and Highland Road: A woman reported that a
construction truck nearly ran her off the road at 11:35 a.m.
* South Coast Highway: An employee at Hotel Laguna reported that
5,000 to 10,000 gallons of water were spilling from a burst water
line and flowing into the lobby at 1:02 a.m. The water was shut off
in the entire building.
SUNDAY
* Noria Street: A resident in the 1100 block reported that a
strong scent of sulfur was outside her home at 5:26 p.m.
* South Coast Highway: A visitor at the Montage Resort reported
seeing two men engaging in lewd acts in the restrooms under the
swimming pool at 8:58 a.m.
SATURDAY
* South Coast Highway: Police received a call that about 20
teenagers were drinking and being very rowdy on Aliso Beach at 9:41
p.m.
NOV. 28
* North Coast Highway: Police pulled a man over who was swerving
in the 600 block and arrested him after they found a small amount of
methamphetamine in his jeans pocket at 1:08 p.m. He told police he
also had a meth pipe in his jacket pocket.
