No Names fight back to tie Boomerangs, 2-2
The No Names and Boomerangs fought each other to a 2-2 tie in AYSO
Region 117 boys’ Under-14 Division play.
The Boomerangs held leads of 1-0 and 2-1 but in each instance, the
No Names fought back.
A Jeff Wold pass to David Hopkins set up Hopkins’ feed to Eric
Bergeron for the No Names’ first goal.
After the Boomerangs took a 2-1 lead, Bergeron scored his second
goal of the game, this one coming off a Jared Mossembekker assist.
Eddie Rodriguez played strong in goal and Andrew Lindsey, Riley
Miller and Justin Rodriguez led the midfield play for the No Names.

Under-12 Division
Blue Crushers 6, Conquistadors 4
Travis McDonald, who returned to action after recovering from a
broken arm, scored two goals for the Blue Crushers.
Matthew Steinhaus, who assisted one of McDonald’s goals, scored a
hat trick. The final Blue Crushers’ goal came from Marwan Alteir.
Ryan Hakes also had an assist.
Michael Pelligrino and Dylan Tomkins scored goals for the
Conquistadors.
Region 55
Under-10 Division
Sea Serpents 3, Blue Ice 1
Justin Rogers scored two goals -- including one on a well-placed
header -- and Leeland Morehead scored once for the Sea Serpents.
Tyler Hammock had several saves in net and the Sea Serpent defense
was led by Sean McCormick, Sam Martin and Garrett Brown.

Region 55
Under-12 Division
Rip Curl 2, Pulverizers 1
Rip Curl overcame a 1-0 first quarter deficit to hand the
Pulverizers their first loss of the season.
Devon Shinn scored both second period goals for Rip Curl, one
coming off a Cassie Davis feed, and the play of Katie Yee, Stephanie
Schmidt and Randa Addam helped fuel the comeback.
The Pulverizers dominated the first period of play behind the
efforts of Emily Locken, Alana Kutinsky and Emily Peterson and a goal
by Sarah Howey.
Under-10 Division
Hammerheads 3, The Blue Flames 1
Danielle Duron scored twice and Molly Nalty scored once -- all
three goals coming in the third period -- as the Hammerheads rallied
to victory.
Camille Devita’s second period goal gave the Blue Flames a 1-0
lead.
Region 56
Under-12 Division
Sour Grapes 2, Shock and Awe 1
Brittani Glendon scored a pair of second half goals, one off a
Stephanie Diciurcio assist, as the Sour Grapes rallied to victory.
