A memorial service will be held on Saturday for Mr. Harold Dana

Dale Jr., a 40-year Costa Mesa resident.

Mr. Dale died Aug. 26 of complications from Parkinson’s syndrome.

He was 78.

Mr. Dale is survived by his wife, Alice Jean; daughters Sarah

Olds, Mary Gray and Margaret Prescott; son Robert Dale; and nine

grandchildren.

The memorial will be held at 11 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of

the Covenant, at 2850 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa. Graveside services

will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Riverside National

Cemetery.

Barbara McKay Cockrell

A memorial service will be held on Sunday for Mrs. Barbara McKay

Cockrell, a longtime resident of Lido Isle and the member of the

family that founded Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Cockrell died on Aug. 28 after a two-year battle with cancer.

She was 74.

Mrs. Cockrell is survived by her daughters Melissa Cockrell

Theriot and Bonnie McKay Cockrell; and five grandchildren.

The memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. at the home of Richard

and Kathryn Agnew, at 1512 Antigua Way in Newport Beach. The burial

will be at the Skokie Memorial Cemetery in Skokie.
