Services for 44-year Newport Beach resident Ellena “Tyke” Gaston

Coontz will be held Sunday at Pacific View Memorial Park. Ms. Coontz

died Thursday of congestive heart failure. She was 85. She is

survived by daughters Sondra, Denise and Janet; son John; four

grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Downie Davidson Muir III. Mr. Muir died Friday of pneumonia. He was

83. He is survived by wife Joanna Muir; and sons James, Thomas and

Downie IV.
