Tumbling freshman earns medals

Laguna High freshman Rachael Marcus earned gold, silver and bronze

medals during the California State Trampoline and Tumbling

Championships on April 28.

She received first place on trampoline (level 7: ages 15 and

older); second place on double mini trampoline (level 8: ages 15 and

older); and third place on tumbling (level 7: ages 15 and older).

Marcus will go on to compete in the Regional Championships on May

25 then to the National Championships in Sacramento in July. Marcus

competed in the Junior Olympic National Championships last year and

placed third in trampoline and fourth in tumbling and double mini.
