Flames hold off Blackhawks, 5-4

Michael O’Connell posted two goals and assisted two more to help the
Flames get past the Blackhawks, 5-4, in a Smythe Division game at
Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
O’Connell scored the first and last goal for the Flames and
assisted goals by Corey DeMatteo and Tyler Allen.
Sammy Lopez-Hilgado scored the other Flames goal.
Hunter Nelson recorded 31 saves.
Nathan Wing, Conor Murphy, Nicole Chittum and Shane Patel each
scored and Sean Wing finished with 33 saves for the Blackhawks.

Booyahs 3, Blades 2
Matthew Mahony’s third period goal was the difference for the
Booyahs.
Joey Villella and Zachary Peterson each scored, Zac Zomaya had an
assist and Cameron Nagai had 26 saves to lead the Booyahs.
Tanner Privia and Jordan Bennett each scored and Matt Bodziak had
a division-best 41 saves.
Roller Dogs 7, The Rockets 6
George Zuniga scored two goals to pace a Roller Dogs’ attack that
featured two goals by Shane Connolly and goals by Mitch Robinson,
Sarah Aguayo and Amanda Case.
Eric Aguayo had 37 saves.
For the Rockets, Nick Evans and Tyler Bolt each scored twice,
Evans had two assists, Spencer Koon had a goal and assist, Jacob
Folsom scored once and Trevor Evans had a pair of assists.
Brad Murchison finished with 32 saves.
Red Lazers 3, Hyper Monkeys 1
Jason Sarna scored and David Daley had 24 assists for the Hyper
Monkeys.
