Edison students get lesson in trades

Edison High School students joined more than 200 students and

educators representing more than 12 schools, in Los Angeles last week

for a conference hosted by the World Trade Week Education Committee.

During the “Globalize Your Future” conference, students

participated in mock United Nations trade negotiations and learned

about careers in international trade from local community leaders.

Kindergarten registration to begin

Kindergarten registration for the Huntington Beach City School

District will be March 25 through 28. Children who will be 5 on or

before Dec. 2 are eligible to register for the 2003-04 school year.

Proof of date of birth, immunization records and tuberculosis

testing and results will be required at the time of registration.
