CdM falls to Foothill, 4-2

Corona del Mar High’s boys golf team fell to 4-2 with a four-stroke

loss to Foothill at the Tustin Ranch GC course Wednesday, 192-188.

Robert Ury was Corona del Mar’s leading golfer with a 1-under 35,

featuring two birdies.

Other Sea Kings were Tim Frohling (37), Alex Chickovani (39), Brad

Chamberlin (39) and Nick Sherman (42).

The Sea Kings meet Esperanza today at 3 at Yorba Linda GC.

On the JC level:

Coast falls by 3

* Jake Allanach paced the Orange Coast College men’s golf team

with a 75 Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough, as Coast dropped an Orange

Empire Conference match to host Santa Ana, 383-386, at El Prado GC in

Chino.

Allanach was 3-over par on the par-72 Los Serranos Golf Course and

was followed by Kelly Wicks’ 76

OCC falls to 8-4, 4-4 in the OEC.
