Firefighter from New York visits

Students at Harbour View and Circle View elementary schools were

visited by special guest, New York firefighter Bobby Senn Wednesday

morning.

Senn spoke to students and was presented with gifts of

appreciation by Harbour View students and parents during the school’s

daily patriotic assembly. Principal Roni Ellis met Senn when he spoke

to the Long Beach Fire Department and asked him to visit Harbour

View.

“The stories he tells are amazing,” Ellis said. “He is a beautiful

speaker.”

Senn spoke to students at both schools about his experience on

that fatal September morning.

“His stories are about not only physical but emotional survival,”

Ellis said. “He has an important message for kids.”
