You never know how an assignment is going to turn out until you

get there. This week’s Photo of the Week is Daily Pilot photographer

Kent Treptow’s winery picture from Sunday. When the assignment was

scheduled, we weren’t sure what the photo opps were going to be,

since the season was over at the vineyard.

But Kent said that as he drove to the vineyard, he envisioned that

if there were grapes still there, they would frame the picture. When

he got there, he saw the lines of the road connecting through the

vineyard and immediately knew this would be his shot. The framing of

the subject gives the reader an interesting perspective that they

might not have seen otherwise.
