The city will be performing street construction work over the next

few weeks, which will affect traffic at various times. For more

Mystic Way/Hilledge Drive storm drain: Construction of a storm

drain along Mystic Way at the point where it joins Blumont Drive,

will cause road closures during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 9

through Dec. 20. Detours to alternate routes will be indicated by

signage.

Crestview and Gainsborough drives road widening: Road widening at

two places on these streets will cause temporary delays of up to five

minutes weekdays throughout December.

South Coast Highway at Third Avenue: Landscaping of the median

island near the intersection will cause closures of the number one

lane in both directions during from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of Dec.

9. This will cause delays on South Coast Highway during these times.

Alta Vista and Nyes Place resurfacing: Street resurfacing in the

Alta Vista area and along Nyes has been substantially completed.

Adjusting of utility vaults and replacement of striping will continue

through Dec. 13. Any traffic delays should be minimal.
