* Brookhurst Street: A woman reported that she heard someone

trying to get in her back door in the 19300 block at 5:36 a.m.

the canvas top was slit and a Gucci purse, registration and insurance

were stolen in the 21000 block at 9:55 a.m. Sunday.

* Burke Lane: Two vehicles were reported to be engaged in road

rage in the 16500 block at 2:29 a.m. Sunday.

* Central Park: Seven to eight dead ducks were found, with one

trying to walk but finally falling over and a couple floating. It was

undetermined whether the ducks were shot or poisoned at 12:31 p.m.

Sunday.

* Duck Farm: A woman reported that her vehicle was broken into in

the parking lot and her purse was taken through a smashed window at

1:35 p.m. Sunday.

* Durham Drive: A woman called to report drugs and illegal

activity going on in the 9700 block at 1:35 p.m. Sunday.

* Edinger Avenue and Gothard Street: A man was reported to be

driving a pick-up truck completely naked at 8:43 a.m. Saturday.

* Elmhurst Circle: A man reported that people were trying to

break the windows of his vehicle as he was leaving the 14500 block at

10:30 p.m. Saturday.

* Goldenwest Street: A man reported that his car, which was

stolen from him Friday, was at the swap meet. When he confronted the

person who had his car, the person put the vehicle in a truck and

drove away in the 15500 block at 7:28 a.m. Sunday.

* Graham Street: A man was reportedly hit by a bottle at a party

in the 15600 block at 1:54 a.m. Saturday.

* Graham Street: A woman reported that she was walking in

Butterfly Park when she saw a man fire a handgun and then put it into

his pocket. When she approached, he said he was a police officer and

the park was the safest place to practice in the 16600 block at 1:59

p.m. Saturday.

* Graham Street: A fight involving 80 people with pepper spray

was reported and bottles in the 15600 block at 11:16 p.m. Friday.

* Heil Avenue: A woman reported that someone was trying to get

into her back door and that several people were stalking her in the

4900 block at 10:48 p.m. Sunday.

* Holly Street: Breaking and entering was reported in the 19000

block at 9:36 a.m. Sunday.

* Ivory Circle: A man reported his neighbors doing drugs in their

car in the 6000 block at 1:03 p.m. Saturday.

* Kona Drive: A man reported that his bedroom window was broken

into and that someone had threatened him in the 4900 block at 11:13

p.m. Friday.

* Lantana Drive: A person reported that their car was broken into

through the driver’s side window and a stereo was stolen in the 20200

* Loma Avenue: A woman reported being followed in the 300 block

at 10:22 p.m. Saturday.

* Lowell Circle: The upper torso of a devil Halloween decoration

was reported stolen in the 17000 block at 12:01 p.m. Sunday.

* Magellan Lane: Shots were reportedly fired into a home in the

16200 block at 4:05 a.m. Saturday.

* Magnolia Street: A man reported that a female neighbor attacked

his vehicle with a baseball bat in the 19000 block at 12:49 p.m.

man near the entrance of State Beach was beating up a 10-year-old

child with several people watching at 1:02 p.m. Sunday.

* Pacific Coast Highway: A possible burglary was reported to be

in progress in the 500 block at 2:39 a.m. Sunday.

* Paseo Circle: A man was reported to have put his fist through a

window in the 17500 block at 12:35 a.m. Sunday.

* Pelican Lane: A man reported that he had received an anonymous

letter about his dog being poisoned on Sept. 8 in the 15500 block at

6:20 p.m. Friday.

* Rockcreek Circle: A woman reported that someone entered her

house with a key and took something she bought at Target in the 16500

* Seapoint Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway: A motorcycle

reportedly lost control and slid, but the driver was walking around

saying he was OK at 7:44 p.m. Saturday.

* Slater Avenue: A woman reported that a neighbor’s child had

climbed into her van, turned the wheel and drove into another vehicle

in the 7800 block at 6:09 p.m. Friday.

* Stanley Walk Lane: It was reported that two to three dogs had

been left alone for several days and that the dogs were howling and

trying to climb the fence in the 17000 block at 6:01 p.m. Friday.

* Tidepool Circle: A woman called to report she was detaining a

rapist who was under her bed in the 20000 block at 7:02 a.m. Sunday.

* Tidewater Circle: A man reported that two males were walking on

his fence until his dog chased them off in the 9300 block at 12:27

a.m. Saturday.

* Toway Lane: A person reported finding someone sleeping in their

backyard in the 15700 block at 12:47 a.m. Friday.

* Venture Drive: A woman was reported stuck in an elevator in the

3600 block at 5:55 p.m. Saturday.

a.m. Sunday.

* Walnut Avenue and Main Street: Men were reported to be fighting

with one man passed out in the gutter with blood coming out of his

mouth at 12:46 a.m. Friday.
