Temple Isaiah of Newport Beach will hold its S’lichot evening and

The Second Church of Christ, Scientist will hold a noon prayer
meeting for an hour for the “protection, growth and guidance” of

Temple Bat Yahm will present Rosh Hashana services at 8 p.m.
Friday and at 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Yom Kippur
services will be held at 8 p.m. Sept. 15 and several services
beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 16 at 1011 Camelback St., Newport Beach.

The Chabad Jewish Center will hold High Holiday Services at the

NEW YEAR SERVICES
Chabad of Central Orange County will celebrate the Jewish New Year
starting with Rosh Hashana at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Sept. 7 and 9:30
a.m. Sept. 7-8. A Kol Nidre service will be held 7 p.m. Sept. 15,
followed by Yom Kippur services at 10 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Sept. 16.

The Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council will hold a luncheon at

for the Los Angeles Times, will speak on the topic “How Religion in

A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
A 26-lesson study on the life of Jesus Christ titled ‘’Journey to
