After an exciting season of 18 games and four playoff games, the

Astros emerged Division Champions of the Fountain Valley Pony

Baseball T-Ball Division, after a close game with the Athletics.

According to Manager Pete Fischer, the coaches taught the children

ages 4 through 6 the basic skills of baseball, but it was the

youngsters who kept up their energy and winning attitude that won the

championship.

Fischer was proud of how well the children demonstrated great

sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the season. In addition to

receiving trophies from the league, the team players received

additional prizes and certificates of achievement from Dewain

Bartimus of Team Dewain, Century 21 Berg Realty, team sponsor.
