COSTA MESA
East 17th Street: A woman was arrested on suspicion of urinating in
public in the 200 block at 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Governor Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto
in the 800 block at 6:02 p.m. Saturday.
Newport Boulevard and East Wilson Street: A 20-year-old man was
arrested on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm in public, possessing
a switch blade knife and possessing marijuana at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
South Coast Drive: A man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft in
the 900 block at 11:38 p.m. Saturday.
Superior Avenue: A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in
public in the 1700 block at 2:57 a.m. Sunday.
NEWPORT BEACH
21st Street and Balboa Boulevard West: Petty theft was reported at
1:59 a.m. Sunday.
Bayview Circle: A battery was reported in the 500 block at 4:29 a.m.
Sunday.
Iris Avenue: A party disturbance was reported in the 700 block at
10:54 p.m. Saturday.
Newport Center Drive East: A forgery was reported in the 600 block at
3:13 p.m. Saturday.
Ocean Front West: A vandalism was reported in the 2800 block at 2:52
a.m. Sunday.
San Bernardino Avenue: Illegal peddling was reported in the 400 block
at 4:25 p.m. Saturday.
Seashore Drive: Illegal fireworks were reported in the 5500 block at
10:34 p.m. Saturday.
