A warm morning with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper
60s will begin a fair weekend day. We’ll warm up to the mid- and even
high 70s about 1 p.m. before the winds start to pick up in the afternoon.
It should be a pleasant evening, with temperatures staying in the 60s.

BOATING FORECAST
Light winds on the inner waters today, becoming 10 to 15 knots from
the southwest and west in the afternoon. Waves will be 2 feet on a west
swell of 6 to 8 feet. Winds will calm late.
Strong winds northwest of the San Nicolas Island, elsewhere on the
deeper waters the winds will blow from the northwest at 15 to 25 knots.
The swell from the northwest will be 10 to 14 feet.
SURF
Chest-high waves with some fun shoulders around the jetties. If a
promised northwest swell hits right, there could be some head-high walls.
