WEATHER FORECAST
Well, save a light misting, those showers just seemed to pass us by
over the last couple of days. But this weekend is just going to be
beautiful with mostly sunny conditions and highs of about 70 in Costa
Mesa and the mid-60s in Newport Beach.
Another heat wave should begin to take effect on Monday.

BOATING FORECAST
Winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters this afternoon,
with 2-foot waves and a combined seas of 2 to 6 feet.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 20 knots, with a
northwest swell of 8 to 10 feet.
SURF
We should continue to see chest- to shoulder-highs today, with the
occasional head-high. The strength of the southwest swell, though, is
weakening, so Sunday will definitely see a drop-off in size. Expect
mostly waist-highs with the occasional chest-high.
