victories

- Andrew Dialynis smacked a three-run home run in the first inning,

which proved to be the difference in a 4-2 Cardinals win over the Mud

Hens in Corona del Mar Pony Baseball action.

Ryan Lance pitched well, allowing only two runs in four innings. Kyle

Schneekluth pitched the final three innings, giving up only one hit.

Jamie Kline had two hits for the Cards, while Matt Loyd, Jaffer Kattan,

David Wheatley, Lance and Schneekluth each added hits in the winning

effort. Brendon Salisbury pitched five strong innings for the Mud Hens.

* Cardinals 10, Yankees 1 - The Cardinals broke open a 1-1 tie in the

fifth inning, exploding for nine runs in a 10-1 win over the Yankees in

Corona del Mar Pony Baseball action.

Six consecutive hits by Kelsey Chase, Alex Johnston, Jaffer Kattan,

David Wheatley, Kyle Schneekluth and Ryan Lance, who held the Yankees

hitless for six innings, followed by a walk to Jamie Kline and a double

by Roger Ramillon accounted for the scoring. Jamie Kline pitched a

scoreless final inning for the Cardinals.
