A fine arts exhibition of post World War II impressionist paintings is
currently on display at the J. Kamin Fine Art gallery through May 25.
There will be paintings by Jacqueline Kamin and portraits by Chinese
Master Shuqiao Zhou. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of note
cards with Kamin’s artwork on them will be donated to the Breast Cancer
Care and Research Fund. The gallery is at 1590 South Coast Highway. It is

SATURDAY
The Exchange of Laguna Beach will hold a garage sale to raise funds
for its annual Laguna Beach High School scholarships. The garage sale,
from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 27, will take place at 3145 Mountain View
Drive at Tyrol. Items can also be donated by calling Sandi or Hal at
494-6016.
The Laguna Canyon Foundation will host a celebration honoring Donald
Bren and The Irvine Company. The ceremony starts at 10 a.m., April 27.
Two docent-led hikes will be offered before and after the ceremony. Free

WEDNESDAY
The Art Institute of Southern California will open the Graduating
Student Exhibition on May 1. The free exhibit will present outstanding
works by the Class of 2002 at the main gallery on campus and at Gallery
815. It will conclude with a reception from 4-6 p.m. on May 18 at 2222

The City of Laguna Beach will kick off Heritage Month with a behind
the scenes tour of the Pageant of the Masters starting at 3:30 p.m. on

DeRu’s Fine Arts gallery will present, “The Drawings of Edgar Payne
