WEATHER FORECAST
The usual morning fog and low clouds will be accompanied by drizzle
early today. The sun should show itself in intervals this afternoon.
Highs will be in the low 60s, and lows will be in the low to mid-50s.
The rest of the week in Newport-Mesa will be much of a repeat.

BOATING FORECAST
The southeasterly winds will blow a light 5 to 10 knots early, but
will become westerly and will pick up to 10 to 15 knots, with 2-foot
waves and a west swell of 3 to 5 feet. Later, the same will be
encountered, though fog will roll in.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots, with 2-
to 4-foot waves and a northwest swell of 10 to 12 feet. Later, the swell
will back down to 7 to 9 feet.
SURF
The swell will continue to produce knee- to waist-highs with the
occasional chest-high set today. On Wednesday, the size will back down a
bit. On Friday, another northwest swell will build size again.
