COSTA MESA
* Newport Boulevard and Superior Avenue: Possession of a controlled
substance was reported at 12:24 a.m. Monday.
* Newport Boulevard: A man was reportedly drunk in public in the 2200
block at 12:20 p.m.
* Bristol Street: A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing
burglary tools in the 3300 block at 5:20 p.m.
* Church and Walnut streets: Police arrested a woman on suspicion of
burglary and forgery at 8:16 p.m.
* Harbor Boulevard: A man was arrested on suspicion of forgery in the
3000 block at 9:30 p.m.
* San Diego Freeway and Harbor Boulevard: A grand theft was reported
at 7:08 a.m.
* Harbor Boulevard: Property damage reportedly occurred during a
hit-and-run in the 3000 block at 11:37 a.m.
* Superior Avenue: A smoking violation was reported at a workplace in
the 1500 block at 2:01 p.m.
* Elden Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 2300 block at 3:39
p.m.

* Beach Drive: A stolen bicycle was reported at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
* Holmwood Drive: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 400 block at
8:19 am. Monday.
* Park Newport Drive: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1800
block at 12:45 p.m. Monday.
* Jamboree Road: A petty theft was reported in the 4300 block at 10:30
a.m. Monday.
* Teramo Court: A home burglary was reported at 7:47 a.m. Monday.
* Seashore: A stolen vehicle was reported at the summit at 3:35 p.m.
Monday.
* 16th Street: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1700 block at
1:30 p.m. Monday.
* Channel Place Park: Arson was reported inside the women’s restroom
at 4:15 p.m. Monday.
* Hoag Drive: A petty theft was reported on the maternity level of
Hoag Hospital at 11:10 p.m. Monday.
