Beach to ask fourth-graders, “What are you doing for spring break?”

“My friend Kamy and I might go to Palm Springs. We like to play

hide-and-seek in the bushes, go in the pool and write on the rocks.”

Carrie Young, 9

“Probably hang around the house and maybe go some places with my

parents. I’ll go to restaurants with my mom’s friends and to parks with

my friends. We can go biking or whatever.”

Julia Damian, 9

“I want to go to Sea World. I haven’t been since I was 3 years old. I

like all the dolphins and whales.”

Alison Halderman, 9

“I’m going to Arizona to see my grandma and grandpa. I’m going to Wild

Rivers up there. It has rocks and you slide down the rocks.”

Loni Dove, 10

“I’m going to baby-sit my friend’s dog Fuzz, a female Pomeranian that

will be 9 months old on April 1. Then one day I’m going to Wild Rivers in

Irvine. I like the really big and fast rides. I’m also starting on a swim

team.”
