WEATHER FORECAST
We may see more sun today than we did Tuesday, but the clouds will
still show their strength, limiting highs to about 63 in Newport-Mesa.
Some fog will show up early and late today as well. Overnight lows will
be in the low 50s.
Thursday will provide similar conditions and may even drizzle a bit.
The weekend, so far, is looking just a tad sunnier.

BOATING FORECAST
The southwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters
this afternoon, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 1 to 3 feet. The winds will ease into the evening.
Out farther, the southerly winds will blow about 10 knots, with 1-foot
waves and a northwest swell of 3 to 5 feet. The same will be encountered
later, though fog will develop.
SURF
Waves should enter the knee- to waist-high range today and will
finally be worth entering for the first time this week. Thursday’s
looking even better with a southwest swell building waves to the
chest-high range. Friday should be similar.
