* West Baker Street and College Avenue: A traffic collision involving
injuries was reported at 3:18 p.m. Monday.
* Bristol Street: A grand theft was reported in the 3100 block at
10:07 a.m. Monday.
* Paularino Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 800 block
at 1:01 a.m. Monday.
* Peterson Place: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2700 block at
5:02 a.m. Monday.
* Tustin Avenue: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 1500 block
at 11:08 a.m. Monday.* Walnut Street: A petty theft was reported at 9:06
a.m. Monday.
* East 16th Street: A hit-and-run was reported in the 400 block at
7:17 a.m. Monday.
* East 17th Street and Tustin Avenue: Vandalism was reported at 7:52
a.m. Monday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Aralia: Cassette tapes, binoculars and other items were reportedly
stolen from a vehicle in the 2200 block at 9:05 a.m.
* Back Bay Drive: Annoying phone calls were reported in the 1100 block
at 1:20 p.m. Monday.
* Marsala: A wallet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 200
block at 1 p.m. Monday.
* Newport Boulevard: About $410 was reportedly missing from the cash
register of a restaurant in the 3100 block at 1 p.m. Monday.
* Newport Center Drive: A cell phone was reportedly stolen from a
vehicle in the 700 block at 4 p.m. Monday.
* Ocean Boulevard: A diamond wedding ring valued at about $58,000 was
reportedly stolen in the 3600 block at 3 p.m. Monday.
* Vista Huerta: A woman reported that she found two notes on her
doorstep indicating they were from her “20-year-old secret admirer.” The
incident was reported in the 2200 block at 7:15 p.m. Monday.
