WEATHER FORECAST
Overnight lows will bottom out at about 50 degrees.
On Friday, the clouds will remind us that we can’t have sun 365 days,
and winds will blow this afternoon. Highs will fall flat at about 65 in
Newport-Mesa, and lows will hit the high 40s. By Sunday, rain could be in
the forecast.

BOATING FORECAST
The westerly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters this
afternoon, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 3 feet. This evening,
the same will be encountered.
Out farther, the winds will blow 10 knots this afternoon, with
foot-high waves and a west swell of 2 to 4 feet. The swell will build to
4 to 6 feet this evening.
SURF
The waves are looking more decent today than they were Wednesday. Most
will be in the waist-high range, though the occasional chest-high will be
seen. Expect slightly larger waves Friday as a combination of northwest
and southwest swells roll in.
