WEATHER FORECAST
After Sunday’s cool and cloudy weather, today’s looking partly sunny
and windy, with highs in the mid-60s in Newport-Mesa. Overnight lows will
be in the mid-40s.
By Tuesday, all should be well, though, with mostly sunny skies and
highs in the low 70s. And on Wednesday, the first official day of spring,
it should be slightly warmer than that. Enjoy.

BOATING FORECAST
The northerly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots in the inner waters this
afternoon, with 2- to 4-foot waves and a west swell of 4 to 6 feet. The
same will be encountered this evening, though winds will lighten up late.
Out farther, the northerly winds will blow 20 to 30 knots early, but
will ease to 15 to 25 knots this afternoon, with 3- to 5-foot waves and a
northwest swell of 8 to 10 feet. The same will be seem by evening, though
the winds will ease a bit to 10 to 15 knots tonight.
SURF
While conditions for today’s surf may not be the healthiest, they are
expect to be in the waist- to chest-high range. The latest northwest
swell can be thanked for that. On Tuesday, however, waves will come in a
bit smaller in the form of knee- to waist-highs. Expect even less on
Wednesday. Another swell should drop by on Thursday.
