Every so often, we encounter a person whose life strikes us as
particularly remarkable.
It happened this month with a story we ran on Amy Taylor.
Taylor, at 27, has adopted her three brothers to make sure they don’t
end up in foster homes the way she did.
She has a 3.8 grade-point average as a scholarship student at Vanguard
University. She’s raising her brothers, ages 17, 15 and 12 and her own
7-year-old son right. She’s teaching them respect. She’s emphasizing the
value of an education. She’s put together a family when many doubted it
could be done.
Her story is one to go back and savor, if you haven’t already. Or to
take a second look and find inspiration.
