CLEAR UP THAT SKIN
No, eating chocolate won’t necessarily give you zits. Neither will
popping peanuts, which are high in oil. But there are certain foods and
minerals that have been scientifically proven to do some epidermal good.
* Eat salmon. Its omega-3 fatty acids helps thin the junk that clogs
pores and can also strengthen the liver, which in turn can arm you from
breakouts. If you need to watch your iodine and prefer less-salty
sources, try eating lake trout and wheat germ, which are also rich in
omega-3s.
* Take your vitamin C. They carry antioxidants that defend the body
from harmful free radicals that can cause wrinkles and other skin no-nos.
* Drink lots of water. Gulping down eight 8 ounce glasses of the clear
stuff will help your body get rid of toxins.
