The Daily Pilot went to Corona del Mar High School to ask
seventh-graders, “What are your New Year’s resolutions?”
‘To help more with the community, like picking up trash and to be more
organized and on top of my studies. I want to be more engaged with my
dancing and theater.’
Stephanie Finney, 13

‘I don’t need to make a resolution. I feel blessed to have good
friends and a wonderful family.’
Katherine Ossipoff, 12

‘Help friends a lot if they need it and be respectful to everyone
around me, even if they’re mean to me.’
Jaffer Kattan, 12
Newport Beach
‘Be more independent and responsible, and to be nicer to other people.
I’ll try to get better grades too.’
Victor Hoang, 12

keep up with everything.’
