ENGAGEMENTS

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fitzgerald of Bethesda, Md., and Marla Schick of

San Diego are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Molly

Bryn Fitzgerald to Douglas Bartley Stuckey of Newport Beach.

The bride-to-be graduated with a degree in communications from UC

Santa Barbara and is working toward her master’s degree in speech

pathology from Cal State Long Beach. She is also working as a speech

pathology assistant for the Irvine Unified School District.

The groom-to-be is the son of Elaine Stuckey and the late Richard

Stuckey of Newport Beach. He has a degree in speech communication and a

minor in political science from Oregon State University.

At Oregon State, he was was a four-year starter on the football team

and vice president of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He is the public affairs

director for the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The couple was engaged Nov. 23 in Newport Beach and plan to wed Jan.

4, 2003, in Orange County.
