WEATHER FORECAST
The rain just didn’t come to fruition Thursday. But that’s great news
for surfers who want some clean water. While there’s the slightest chance
of rain today, don’t bank on it because, like Thursday, predictions
sometimes just don’t come true.
Skies will be partly cloudy today with temperatures topping out in the
high 50s. The same should be encountered Saturday, but readings should
warm up Sunday. Have a wonderful weekend.

BOATING FORECAST
There is a heavy surf advisory today, so play it cautious.
In the inner waters today, the northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 20
knots early, with waves of 2 to 3 feet and a west swell of 8 to 11 feet.
The winds should lighten up this evening.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 25 knots early,
but will ease up to 10 to 20 knots. The combined seas will be 14 to 18
feet. That should lower into the evening.
SURF
As the rain never came, the runoff shouldn’t be too much of a problem
today. And that’s great news because the current northwest swell is
expected to generate surf in the head-high and higher range. Standout
spots may see some near double overheads. Saturday’s not looking as good
as once projected as it’ll probably end up in the waist- to chest-high
range. It should pick up again in the middle of next week.
