Golden West College will present the 25th anniversary edition of “The
Nutcracker” by the Ballet Repertory Theatre at 7 p.m. Dec. 21, 22, and
23; 2 p.m. Dec. 22 and 23; and 1 p.m. Dec. 24 at the Mainstage Theater on
the campus, 15744 Golden West St. Tickets are $12.50 general; $11.50
students, groups and Gold Key cardholders; and $10.50 children younger

SATURDAY
The Huntington Beach Art Center is presenting a group exhibition
featuring photographers Ulla Barr and Christine Nguyen, and painters
Patty Doody and Patrick Williams. The exhibit, titled “Four From the
Floor” features works that capture memories or realities that are either
imagined, splintered or commercialized. New mosaic works from Helen
Fallon will be featured in the Art Center Store. “Four From the Floor”
will run from Dec. 15 to Jan. 13. There will be an opening reception from
7 to 9 p.m., Dec. 15 at the center, 538 Main St. Information, (714)

SUNDAY
Optimum Boot Camp, a fitness class on the beach, is offering 47
classes a week. Morning classes are at 5:30 a.m., 6:45 a.m., 8 a.m. 9:15
a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Evening classes are at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30
p.m. There is a shortened schedule on weekends. Classes include a
military-style obstacle course, cardiovascular endurance, fat burning and
strength training exercises. All levels of fitness are welcome.
