WEATHER FORECAST
Expect a lot of sun but not much heat. Highs will hover in the high
50s and low 60s in Newport-Mesa today, while the overnight lows dip into
the low to mid-40s. Much of the same will be encountered Thursday, though
it may warm up a tad Saturday.

BOATING FORECAST
The northwesterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters
this afternoon, with waves of 2 feet and a west swell of 5 feet. Winds
will ease this evening.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow a bit stronger at 15 to
20 knots, with 3-foot waves and a northwest swell of 9 feet. Much of the
same will be encountered later.
SURF
Expect a lot of surf in the knee-range today with the occasional
waist-high. It probably won’t pick up much until Saturday.
