Girls tennis: Sea Kings advance to final

The Corona del Mar High girls tennis team used another dominating
effort to take care of host Harvard-Westlake, 16-2, in a CIF Southern
Section Division IV semifinal Thursday at Studio City Golf & Racquet
Club.
The Sea Kings (22-0) will face Palm Desert, a 10-8 winner over Calabasas, in the final Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Claremont Club.
CdM junior Anne Yelsey and sophomore Brittany Holland won three sets
each in singles play and the doubles teams of seniors Brittany Reitz and
Brittany Minna and junior Taylynn Snyder and senior Leslie Damion also
scored three victorious sets.

Singles - Yelsey (CdM) def. Leck, 6-2, def. Harper, 6-3, def. Hazy,
6-0; Holland (CdM) won, 6-4, 6-0, 6-0; Rubenstein lost, 2-6, 3-6, won,
6-3.
Doubles - Reitz-Minna (CdM) def. Rader-Harris, 6-0, def.
Madhaven-Bussarakum, 6-0, def. Jason-McLucas, 6-0; Tenerelli-Mutzke (CdM)
won, 7-6, 6-4, 6-0; Snyder-Damion (CdM) won, 6-1, 6-2, 6-0.
