WEATHER FORECAST
The day that many have dreaded should arrive today. That’s right. Rain
is expected early during the morning and evening commutes today. The
lunch hour may be dampened as well. Early, temperatures should be in the
low 60s in Newport-Mesa, though they’ll eventually reach the high 60s.
Overnight, temperatures will hover in the low 60s. Expect drier and
sunnier conditions Wednesday.

BOATING FORECAST
While it may rain a little today, the southwesterly winds will blow
their typical 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters, generating waves of
about a foot and a west swell of 3 feet. Not much will change into the
night.
Out farther, the westerly winds will also blow 10 to 15 knots, with
waves of about a foot and a northwest swell of about 5 feet. The winds
will become northwesterly at night.
SURF
A new northwest swell should bring in some waist- to chest-highs this
afternoon. Some of the better spots may see some head-highs.
