WEATHER FORECAST
Like Sunday, it’ll be on the cool side today with mostly cloudy skies.
But don’t count the sun out just yet as it’ll shine from time to time
throughout the day. Expect highs in the high 60s in Costa Mesa and the
mid-60s in Newport Beach.
Overnight, lows will dip down into the high 50s, so dust off the
sweaters and sweatshirts. On Tuesday, it just might rain. So, while
you’re freshening up those sweaters, get out those helpful umbrellas.
Fall has arrived.

BOATING FORECAST
For the most part, the southwesterly winds will blow the typical 10 to
15 knots in the harbor today, generating waves of about a foot and a west
swell of about 4 feet. Winds should calm to about 10 knots or less into
the night.
Out farther, the winds will also blow light, creating a northwest
swell of about 5 feet.
SURF
Not much going on today with waves in the knee-to waist-high range.
Things should pick up a bit Tuesday as a northwest swell brings in waist-
to chest-highs. Until then, might as well stay dry.
