Newport Beach Little League will conduct sign-ups for the spring
season Nov. 3 and Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Lincoln Elementary
School’s multi-purpose room, located at 3101 Pacific View Drive.
For managers, coaches and umpires: NBLL will be taking applications
for adults interested at the same dates and times. Applicants need not
have children in the program. All managers and coaches who were a part of
the league last year, must reapply for the upcoming season.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 6 (born 8/1/95 to 1/31/96) through 12 (born 8/1/89 to 7/31/90), who are residents of Newport Beach
(including Balboa Island and the Peninsula), Newport Coast and Corona del
Mar.
New players must bring a “certified copy” of a birth certificate,
which the league can keep. New players and returning players who have
moved since November 2000 must bring proof of residency (such as a
parent’s driver’s license, voter registration card, homeowner or tenant
property insurance documents, etc.).
Baseball games are played at Lincoln Elementary School fields, Buffalo
Hills Park, Andersen Elementary School fields and San Miguel field.
