Boys cross country: Eagles remain unbeaten

Estancia High defeated Northwood, 19-39, and Corona del Mar, 15-43,

in a Pacific Coast League three-way boys cross country dual meet

Thursday.

Corona del Mar rebounded against Northwood, earning a 26-32 victory.

Umberto Rojas (15:52) placed first to lead the Eagles (5-0 in PCL).

Mike Casillas (15:56) took second, Erin Ban Geen (16:18) was fourth, Abel

Flores (16:19) was fifth and Panfilo Elias (16:33) was seventh for the

Eagles. Gerardo Orozco (16:47) placed 10th for Estancia.

Corona del Mar’s Kevin Arniz (16:33) placed eighth overall followed by

teammate Bo Weitner (16:35), who placed ninth.

The Pacific Coast League Finals will be held at Irvine Regional Park

Nov. 2.
