WEATHER FORECAST
It should be another partly sunny day today with highs in the high 70s
in Costa Mesa and the mid-70s in Newport Beach. Lows, meanwhile, will
actually dip into the 50s, so toss on an evening sweater. Expect quite
warm temperatures on a mostly sunny Thursday. The readings should be in
the high 70s and low 80s.

BOATING FORECAST
The southeasterly winds will blow light early in the harbor, but will
become southwesterly in the afternoon, picking up to 10 to 15 knots and
generating the typical 2-foot waves and swells of 3 feet. The winds will
subside a bit at night.
Out farther, the northeasterly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots,
generating waves of 10 to 15 knots, though they’ll become light later.
Most notable, however, the northwest swell will be about 10 feet.
SURF
The waves will actually roll in around the waist and shoulder today,
though it won’t last long as Thursday will mark the return of knee- and
waist-highs.
