Sailors win, 10-8

Newport Harbor High’s girls tennis team was a 10-8 winner over host

Aliso Niguel Tuesday, improving the Sailors’ record to 8-2, 5-0 in the

Sea View League.

Big in the Sailors’ victory were the Khoury sisters, Carmen and Diana,

who teamed up to sweep their doubles competition.

Coach Fletcher Olson’s Sailors will be trying to maintain their

unbeaten ways in the Sea View on Thursday when they travel to Irvine.
