Girls tennis: Mustangs fall to University

COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa was defeated by visiting University, 15-3,
in a Pacific Coast League girls’ tennis match on Thursday.
Hilary Havens won two sets and Hang Nguyen won one for the Mustangs
(2-8, 1-4). University improves to 4-1 in league
The Mustangs face Northwood next on Tuesday at home.

University 15, Costa Mesa 3 Singles - Havens (CM) def. Gotnic, 6-3, def. Chen, 6-2, lost to
Kausen, 1-6; H. Nguyen (CM) lost 3-6, won 6-1, lost 1-6; K. Nguyen (CM)
lost, 0-6, 4-6, 0-6.
Doubles - Doan-Pham (CM) lost to Aswad-Jauner, 1-6, Wislon-Langer,
2-6, Ngo-Ho, 0-6; Maddox-Tran (CM) lost, 0-6, 0-6, 1-6; Gomez-Rodriguez
(CM) lost 0-6, 0-6, 0-6.
