WEATHER FORECAST
It’s looking like another nice day with mostly sunny skies. There will
probably be patches of fog down by the beach and in the harbor.
It’ll start off chilly, with temperatures in the mid-50s. But the sun
will heat things up, and the highs should range from the low 70s by the
water to near 80 over by the freeway in Costa Mesa.

BOATING FORECAST
The harbor will have light winds and small waves throughout the day.
By the afternoon the wind will pick up out of the west to about 10 knots.
A mixed south and west swell will shake things a little at 4 feet. Watch
for some areas of dense fog.
After a windy night, it also should be fairly mild out farther at sea,
with winds from the north at 10 to 15 knots producing 1- to 2-foot waves.
Watch for the strong 6-foot swell from the northwest and south.
SURF
The big waves keep cranking, so duck your heads and find a barrel. The
southwest swell should still be bringing overhead surf with pretty good,
hollow shape. Watch for a few walled-up sets and the 7:30 a.m. high tide.
