Calvary Chapel of Huntington Beach is holding its first annual Ride

for Romania this Saturday at Edison Community Park.

The bike-a-thon and 5K walk will benefit the Romania Children

Outreach, which helps abandoned street children get off the streets,

provides summer camps for orphaned children and provides support and

encouragement to families struggling to support their children in their

homes.

Check-ins will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the bike-a-thon starting at 8

a.m. The 5K walk check-in begins at 9:30 a.m., with the walk starting 10

a.m.

A barbecue will follow at 12:30 p.m.

The park is across from Edison High School.
