Planning Commission Wrap-up

WHAT HAPPENED: The Planning Commission approved a request by Peter

Vanek of Hagle-Ireland Inc. to construct a condominium complex at Mystic

Point at the Boardwalk.

Commissioner Jill Hardy was absent and Commissioner Bill Borden

abstained.

WHAT IT MEANS: Vanek’s request includes construction of a 65-unit,

multi-family condominium project at 6400 Palm Ave. The request also

includes approval of the model homes/sales office complex and six-foot

retaining walls. Wayne Carvalho is the project planner.

NEXT MEETING

The Planning Commission will reconvene 7 p.m. Aug. 14 in the council

chambers of City Hall at 2000 Main St.
