Foundation announced that Huntington Beach resident Betsy Klein has been

reelected to serve on its 2001-2002 board of directors as marketing

chair. . . . Lisa A. Ciccarelli has graduated from Squadron Officer

School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Ala. Ciccarelli is a

space-based radar project manager assigned to the Space and Missile

Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo. She is the

daughter of Eldon D. and Gloria A. Burris. . . . Marine Corps Cpl.

Richard Vega recently received in June a Letter of Appreciation for his

superior performance of duty in an exemplary and highly professional

manner while assigned with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 16, Marine

Aircraft Group 16, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramer. He is the son of

Teresa and Jose M. Vega. . . . Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Matthew Pizzulli, son

of resident Karen R. Morlatt, recently graduated from the United States

Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., with a bachelor’s degree in general

engineering
