Surf and Sun
WEATHER FORECAST
Partly cloudy skies will clear by about noon, eventually leading to a
beautiful, sunny day with a high of 76 degrees. It should feel as though
it’s in the 80s, however. The UV level will hit 9 (out of 10) for about
three hours today, so sunscreen would be wise for those out and about for
more than 10 minutes.
Overnight, it will stay warm with the mercury dipping down to a nice
66. Expect a very similar day Friday with temperatures exceeding 80.

THE BOATING FORECAST
In the harbor, patchy fog will kick off the morning though the typical
western winds of 10 to 15 knots will clear that out and produce 2-foot
waves. Similar conditions will be found farther out.
Those conditions will also be the norm come nightfall, though
northwestern winds may kick up in the outer waters.
SURF
The weaker waves have returned in the form of 2- to 3-footers, though
the occasional shoulder-high surf shouldn’t be counted out. Fair to good
conditions are expected.
