* West Bay Street: An assault was reported in the 300 block at 12:32

p.m. Monday.

* California Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 3200

block at 8:01 a.m. Monday.

* New Hampshire Drive: Prowling was reported in the 1700 block at 9:58

p.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Anita Lane: A camera, cellular phone and sunglasses were stolen in

the 1600 block at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

* Campus Drive: A commercial burglary was reported in the 4600 block

at 12:17 a.m. Monday.

* Hoag Drive: Possession of a controlled substance was reported in the

first block at 7:35 a.m. Monday.

* Irvine Avenue: Currency and two bottles of wine were stolen from a

home in the 500 block at 11:43 a.m. Monday.
