COSTA MESA

* Briggs Avenue: Embezzlement was reported in the 200 block at 2:29

p.m. Tuesday.

* Congress Street: Grand theft was reported in the 800 block at 4:54

p.m. Tuesday.

* Fairview Road: An assault was reported in the 2700 block at 6:13

p.m. Tuesday.

* Harbor Boulevard: Petty theft was reported in the 2800 block at

8:35 a.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Bay Avenue: Luggage was reported stolen in the 300 block at

9:11 a.m. Monday.

* Crystal: Two cases of beer and soda were reported stolen from a

garage in the 300 block at 8:35 p.m. Monday.

* Hospital Road: Somebody reportedly broke into a doctor’s office in

the 300 block and ransacked the office at 10:15 a.m. Monday. Nothing was

reported missing or stolen.
