SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept

checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or hamburger on a bun

with lettuce and pickles, choice of fruit, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or turkey and gravy with mashed potatoes, fresh

baked whole grain roll, choice of fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or Tony’s Galaxy pepperoni pizza, crisp green

salad with low fat dressing, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or teriyaki beef dippers, harvest bread, green

beans, choice of fruit, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chalupa taco boat with shredded lettuce and

salsa, choice of fruit, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
