at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday.

* Pomona Avenue: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported in the 1700

block at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday.

* Scott Place: Vandalism was reported in the 700 block at 12:20 p.m.

Tuesday.

* East 16th Street: Possession of a controlled substance was reported

in the 200 block at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Bay Avenue and 16th Street: Parts of a sailboat were reported stolen

at 10:50 a.m. Monday.

* Campus Drive: Computer components were reported stolen from an

office in the 4700 block at 2 p.m. Monday.

* MacArthur Boulevard: A diamond ring worth $3,000 was reported stolen

from a hotel’s public restroom in the 4500 block at 11:53 a.m. Monday.
